Artist's Description
This small, but mighty Texas Horned Lizard, or horny toad, as we say it these parts... is caught just before the waters of a big storm hit. Flash Flood is the title. This guy has a lot of presence!
About Tracy L Teeter
I am a mostly self-taught artist residing in a small town in SW Kansas. My husband and I reside with three very furry cats named CC, Sas and Gizzy. I do a variety of subjects mainly with domestic animals and wildlife. Animals captured my heart when I was a child. I experiment with different mediums, but pastels have become my passion. I find happiness from the creation of my works, but the end result of seeing people view the completed piece is the best! Young or old, people like to be uplifted with positive and colorful pieces. It makes my life brighter when I see smiles light up their faces. Tracy L. Teeter http://www.TracyLTeeter.com http://www.Zazzle.com/TracyLTeeter* All images by Tracy L Teeter copyrighted.

Know what you mean, Debbie... we sure don't get to see horny toads around here any more. I think we've destroyed their habitats. Killed their food source... This guy has presence though... maybe he'll stick around for a while?

Wonderful work!! These were out favorite play things when me and my siblings were growing up in West Tx. Where everything is bites, stings or has horns or thornes it seems! WE LOVED IT!!! :D
